In addition to standard classroom/office supply needs, bids are also received for custodial, athletic, fine arts, health, industrial arts and science supplies.
  • Fuel Oil and Gasoline - Cooperative purchasing of fuel and gasoline (55,000 and one million gallons, respectively) saves county taxpayers approximately $100,000 annually.
  • Bread and Milk - Over $30,000 is saved annually by 10 districts in the cooperative purchase of a dozen different bread products and ten liquids, including milks, tea and juices.
  • Telecommunications - Participating districts save over 20 percent for toll call/long distance services by cooperatively bidding through the MOESC.
  • Natural Gas “ Purchasing natural gas for more than 40 school districts and municipalities, our co-op is the largest in the State. Savings average about 10%
